Dispelling a few fables about water contamination
"When the well's dry, we know the worth of water." - Benjamin Franklin,.

'Oh well,' you are saying. 'I should've brought a water purifier but I did not, so I suspect I will just have to drink from this creek. It has run off the rocks anyhow, that might've filtered it a little bit. I should be fine, right?' Ah, famous last words.

Drinking unclean water is way more major than one might think. Drinking grimy water can provide you with cholera, dysentery, amoebas, e.coli or giardia, simply to cite a couple. You could contract diverse cancers. And as if that was not bad enough, drinking dirty water can even give you hepatitis An and E. As slack as you could be about drinking grimy water, it really isn't any fun .

Nevertheless in spite of the gravity implications of water contamination there are several common myths and parables about drinking dirty water. Let's dispel 1 or 2 :

Myth ONE: If water is soiled, you can tell.
Wrong. Water contamination is crafty. Water contamination won't necessarily look brown, dingy or corpulent. Small microbes that are not perceivable to the eye can live within unclean water and cause great harm.

Myth TWO: Dirty water is only a difficulty in third-world states.
Wrong. Any water system can become polluted by run-off from rural, household or economic waste, rusty pipelines and sewage. Most water systems contain a set level of water contamination.

Myth THREE: We are going to have a water shortage, although not for another 100 years or so.
Wrong. Thanks to a rising global population, water contamination and resistance to recycled wastewater, the world is in a water crisis[www.sureaqua.com / eco / water-crisis]. A child dies every eight seconds as the direct consequence of drinking unclean water.

Myth FOUR: If you end up drinking dirty water it is the government's fault.
Wrong. Water contamination is typically the result of lead pipes in the pluming in your house. Most states do not have express laws to protect you completely from water contamination. Your wellbeing is your responsibility. If you finish up drinking dirty water, it is your own fault truly.

Myth FIVE: Wastewater is sent to treatment plants and can't infect us.
Wrong. According to the World Health Organisation, ninety percent of the world's wastewater is channelled off into lakes, rivers and seas. You could be coincidentally drinking unclean water while you are swimming.

Myth SIX: Water is one of the Earth's most common resources.

Actually very , very, wrong. Only 3% of the water on Earth is fresh. Of this measly three percent, two percent is in glaciers and only 0.5% is accessible.
Unfortunately, water contamination is an everlasting bi-product of our highly industrialised approaches to life. So as to live a modern life and avoid drinking dirty water, you want to take your health into your own hands. Invest in a water purification system that does not put more chemicals into your body, water should be pure. Try a SureAqua system today.
